BecoPotty - Eco-friendly Potty by Alex Langston Date Added: Tuesday 24 April, 2012 When I was potty training my eldest I was over the moon to find a potty that wasn't just a big lump of plastic destined for landfill once it was finished with. Made from natural plant waste it is suggested that you stick a plant in it put it in the garden and it will decomposed, however I haven't put this to the test yet. It was such a great success and so sturdy its currently clean and in storage and will be passed down when the time comes, before one day ending it's journey as it it started it: as a plant matter. The coloured and incredibly soft minky innner dries so quickly, these dried faster than some of my two-parters. Its also stain resistant unlike the old bamboo/micro fibre combination. It must be said that the V2s were very prone to staining. The outer shell seems a lot more soft and a lot less 'plastic-y' than before. These are still slim fitting and last around 4 hours so performance hasn't been compromised with all the changes. The best improvement of all I.M.O is the option of poppers although I really like the coloured aplix too Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!] Ones & Twos Nappies by Alex Langston Date Added: Tuesday 24 April, 2012 My LO is 11 months, 26lb and a heavy wetter. She is a rather cuddly baby so I have found the large setting works best. The aplix on these is great quality, very strong and washes up well. With two boosters we got 4 hours with no leaks or wicking. These are nice trim fitting nappies and very good value for the price. I didn't think I'd take to these at the start purely as I prefer poppers but I am very happy with them. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Itti Bitti Tutto by Alex Langston Date Added: Tuesday 24 April, 2012 I like the versitility of these nappies, the way you can customise the level of absorbency and even the material of the snap ins if you buy an extra soaker set you can opt for microfibre instead of bamboo- a quick drying option for the winter months. For people who haven't used cloth nappies though, these aren't the easiest to get your head round even with the colour coding, although once you do I'm sure you will love them. The fit is very trim, so you won't have any problems fitting clothes over them and they fit well on all settings we have tried (currently on the large setting). They last us around 3-4 hours before wicking sometimes occurs which I'd say is pretty good and the gusseted legs make for really good containment. Have used these for over a year and they wash so well, they still look new. I followed the instructions on this site for folds for girls and have never had any leaks even over night. Wash well and keep their shape. Suitable for all sizes over about 3 months.
