The Wemoon range of Natural Menstrual Pads offer you a bit of luxury during your period. They are an easy to use all in one design, featuring wide wings to avoid slippage, and fastening with poppers around your underwear. Each pad comes individually packaged with full instructions on usage and care.
There are 3 main types of Wemoon pad: Lights, for panty liner usage; Slim Pads, for use during normal flow - available in 3 pad lengths to suit your preference; and Maxi Pads, the same length as the largest Slim Pads, but with a double absorbency core for extra protection on your heaviest days.

Wemoon(R) Natural Menstrual Pads have been designed to make them slim and flexible, offering you total protection, in complete comfort - click on "read more" below for full details. Wemoon Menstrual Pads are an all-in-one design (so no fiddly pieces to find & assemble, fray or lose), made from a beautifully soft, lightly quilted 100% cotton flannelette covering which encases a unique, super-absorbent core made from a revolutionary layer of completely natural fibres, capable of absorbing up to ten times its own weight in moisture. Backing this is a breathable waterproof laminate, to prevent leaks onto your underwear or clothing, so you can feel totally secure, knowing that you are protecting your body and the Earth. The pads have wings which fasten round your knickers with adjustable snaps, so they won't slip, crumple or ride, and fit all underwear; in fact they perform just like a disposable pad - or slightly better! they are washable in a normal load (soak in cold water first, to prevent staining); they are safe and hygienic; but most of all they are beautiful - so you can actually look forward to your period and celebrate it with a feeling of luxury and indulgence! With a choice of 7 different fabrics - the Organic (natural) is pictured here - there really is something to suit every mood!
Once you've decided to use washable nappies, it's only a small step to using washable menstrual pads. After all, you've already accepted that using washable nappies will save you money and make a significant contribution to reducing landfill use - but how many more menstruating women are there at any given time than babies? And most women bleed once a month for up to 35 years, and dispose of the products they use to cope with their menstrual flow. Disposable towels and tampons make a significant environmental impact, and it is easy to reduce this (and save money!) by using washable pads. It is harder, however, to find washable pads that combine comfort, ease of use and efficiency. I am therefore delighted to be able to offer you Wemoon(R) Natural Menstrual Pads, imported from Australia.
Although the Menstrual Pads are sold individually, Wemoon(R) have suggested the following table, to allow you to gauge how many pads you will need based on washing daily. I'm happy to say that there's also a Maxi Pad available, with double absorbency core, particularly suitable for postnatal bleeding, or even stress incontinence. The new design means the pads now have adjustable
press-studs
for narrow
or wide
crotch widths
Narrow : 7cm
Wide : 8cm.
The slim pads now include a small size label on the underside (S, M, L), however you might find it easier to distinguish t'other from which in your drawer if you order each size in a separate colour. The pad lengths are approximately as follows: Small ~ 19.5cm; Medium ~ 22.5cm; Large & Maxi ~ 25.5cm.

Full washing instructions are supplied with every order, but in brief you should soak your used pads in cold water (with any blood stain, cold water will prevent the stain from setting) and then wash in with your nappies, or ordinary laundry, at up to 60C. The soaking water is highly nutritious, and excellent for your garden!

| I'm a recent convert! These are great to use, very comfortable and absorbant. They are easy to soak and wash too. I love the red moon design!
I'm pleased to be able to do something else to reduce waste and to help the environment.

| Excellent! Very comfortable to wear (far more so than disposables which always gave me a dragging sensation). Very discreet without compromising on absorbency - the most absorbent I've had and their wings (wider than most) keep them more secure. |

| When I first found this site I was a bit put off by the thought of washable pads. However the more I read about them and peoples reviews, I deceided to give them a try.
I am very impressed with the pads and their easyness of use.
I would read reviews of women saying they looked forward to their periods so the could use these pads and it's true!!
They are so colourful it's a pleasure to use them!
It's also true that periods are made out to be dirty and something which should be kept out of sight, but these pads bring out the best in me and I can look forward to my period!
Thanks! |

| Have used these pads for many years now-glad to see them finally being sold in UK!Another fact you might want to ponder on- did you know that dried blood is the most effective and nutritious fertiliser? A friend once told me to soak the pads in a container and rather then throw the liquid away simply feed my potted plants with it!Now I'm a pretty lousy gardener-tend to lose them-but NOW they thrive and I've even got my boyfriend REMINDING me to feed the "bloodwater"to the plants!!!I must admit that the thought first was uncomfortable mainly because we grow up thinking(and believing)that having periods is a nuisance but this way I feel I'm making it sacred again and giving back to Earth!TRUST me it really works wonders!
PS.I don"t feed any edible plants with the "bloodwater" |

| It used to be difficult to get washable sanitary pads. I came across Wemoon on an Australian site but I thought it would be dear to get them then I was very pleased to find them in the UK. All these pads have been very good. The only criticism is that if you wash Wemoon pads at a high temperature they shrink (but are still very good to use). My mother's initial comment when I said I was thinking of using them was that nuns usually used them and indeed I met a girl who had spent some time in a convent and it used to annoy her that somebody else would have the job of washing them. |

| I wholeheartedly agree with everyone's positive comments!
In addition - ladies like me who get cystitis during cold weather might find these pads very cosy and that they might suffer less if they wear them. I work outdoors a lot during the winter and find I often wear them for extra warmth even when I'm not having a period!
I'm now pregnant but still using my pads both as "cosies" and to keep myself dry. What a versatile product! |

| I just wanted to say that despite my initial doubts, these pads really are as good as everyone claims. They DO stay in place, there are NO leaks, they are super comfortable and you dont get that sweaty plasticy feeling when using disposible pads. Easy to use, easy to clean. Brilliant. |

| I have been using the washable pads for around two years. I am really happy with them. I used to think that these products were for the way out 'hippy' earth mother types which is not me at all, but since trying them out I am a complete convert, they are soft, comfortable and easy to throw in the washing machine at the end of the day. Recently I was caught out whilst out and about and needed to buy some paper sanitary towels, I noticed the chemical smell and ended up with a rash, not to mention the ouch factor, when you get the sticky bit caught in the wrong place, (I'd forgotten about that) I didn't like them at all. I am so pleased with the towels I am planning on getting some for my daughter who is getting close to starting her periods. It would be great if they came in a teen size, and with some 'young' girl fabrics, but all in all, I would say try them, they really aren't as weird as you would imagine and very managable. |
