Cotton terry nappies are an excellent option. They are the cheapest type of cloth nappy; easiest to dry; the most versatile to use - you change the shape and size of the nappy to best suit your baby at each stage of his/her development, just by changing the way you fold it; and you control its absorbency by using, positioning and regulating the way you boost it. If you are nervous about using pins, then you may want to consider nappy nippas – the modern alternative – no points, no sharp bits, no fuss. See the nappy accessories section.
