Prefolds
Prefolds are popular with nappy laundry services. They consist of a rectangular piece of cotton, with a thicker central panel. The nappy is folded into thirds and laid inside the wrap, and the wrap then secures the whole thing around the baby, so the nappy has no fastenings of it's own.
You may have heard of Bambino Mio or Cotton Bottoms nappies - these are prefolds. We don't stock these brands here, however do read on for details of the nappies we have available.

Prefolds are widely used in the States and, I'm told, in Ireland. This is a straightforward 100% cotton rectangle which you simply fold into 3, like a letter going into an envelope. It's held in place with a wrap, so no need for complicated or sharp fastenings! |
