These brightly coloured trainer pants come in a lovely selection of bright colours: yellow, orange, red, green, blue, purple, plus Barbie pink, and now available in pastel shades - light pink, light mauve, turquoise, light green and light blue - if you don't know what to go for, select the "Surprise Me!" option and we'll send a gender neutral selection. These trainer pants have a layer of short-loop cotton terry on the inside, and cotton jersey (like a t-shirt) on the outside. Sandwiched between these, in an enlarged gusset shape, is a layer of foam for absorbancy, with a PVC waterproof layer outside that. I have used these on 2 of my daughters. Wee containment is excellent. There is no actual running leak out of the pants - the water does spread around the fabric, and so wicks onto the leg bindings and around the top of the enlarged waterproof gusset, but it is all contained within the pants. I find they give enough protection to keep the clothes dry while you find the nearest loo, so if you didn't happen to pick up a change of outfit before leaving home, it probably won't be needed anyway. The pants come in four sizes, S M L and XL: Small - waist 52cm, height 84cm, weight 12kg; Medium - waist 53cm, height 92cm, weight 14kg; Large - waist 54cm, height 100cm, weight 16kg; Extra large - waist 55cm, height 108cm, weight 18kg. As a general rule, children under 2 will need small or medium, age 2-2.5 probably medium, 2.5-3yrs medium/large, and over 3 will need large or XL. If unsure, feel free to phone me for guidance! The sizing does tend to come up on the small side, so if you're trying to pick between two sizes, generally you'll find the larger one is the one to go for, particularly if your child has chunky thighs. Wash on a warm wash - up to 40 deg certainly to begin with - and dark colours separately. Don't tumble dry. New design due in shortly - this design now reduced to clear. Medium size is running very low esp on girly colours.
